Furor

Furor was a Quake 3 BSP renderer written during the summer of 2001. Furor was written in C and used SDL for windowing and input and OpenGL for rendering.

Furor supported the following features:

  • Vertex buffer objects
  • TGA textures
  • Precomputed PVS or octree based hidden surface removal (selectable at runtime)
  • Lightmaps or (slightly broken) vertex lighting (selectable at runtime)
